The world is on the brink of disaster. Not because of war, or famine, or any natural disaster, but because reality is being ignored. This is the story of five females and five males attempting to save humanity and the world as we know it.

This story will follow the adventures of five females and five males attempting to save humanity and life as we know it. They are going to venture into a virtual world like none of them have ever experienced before. Maya Virtuele is supposed to be paradise, but what exactly can they expect? This adventure is going to take them to places they never imagined, and test every limit they have ever had for themselves. Nothing will be as they expect.

In the year 2020, a true virtual reality was created by a young, brilliant scientist named Dr. Holloway. It was like nothing ever seen before. An entire perfect virtual world with endless possibilities. Every detail from the buildings to flowers was created from the doctor?s mind. Instead of living in reality, he decided to permanently immerse himself into the virtual world, which he named Maya Virtuele, and rule. At first, citizens were wary of this new invention. But once it was experienced, people couldn?t resist. They spent more time in Maya Virtuele than reality itself. Once word of the new invention spread throughout the world, everyone wanted to experience it. Stations were set up in every major city, and eventually a majority of the world was spending their time in the virtual world.

Because of this, reality began to be ignored. Cities slowly turned to ruins. Less and less people were available to take care of the world. Those left in reality began to realize if something wasn?t done, the world would cease to exist, and humanity would eventually become extinct.
