At FabHub, we're helping to accelerate the adoption of digital manufacturing (incl 3D Printing), online through a collaborative design platform, knowledge base and directory - and offline through events.

We're offering an internship position for a web developer (front-end) with an interest in building social web platforms but for the duration of the internship, interested in being part of the team building out the features of our FabHub directory site. This initially covers content listing but will expand into transactions (file hosting, manufacturing job objects, payments, profiles etc).

The team's building experience includes OpenIDEO.com, Wikihouse.cc, Green.tv as well as several crowdsourcing- and collaborative design platforms. We follow an agile kanban methodology.

We'd be keen to define an internship where we set clear goals for your learning and development (what you want to get out of it, as well as our expectations of your contribution). Work location is at Haymarket (The Hub Westminster, a communal start-up workspace).

3-6 months timeframe with immediate start. Expenses paid (i.e. travel). There is a clear route into employment as and when we secure more resources.
